The Doula Package
Pregnancy Support: includes a minimum of 2 prenatal visits lasting approximately 1 hour each (at your home within Brantford, or I can provide alternate location) Birth Preference Preparation: creation of a document outlining your preferences for your Birth Experience. Email/ Telephone Support: unlimited email and telephone support and conversation from date I'm hired to 2 weeks postpartum. Labour Support: I will be on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week beginning 2 weeks before your due date. When labour starts I will be available as soon as you're ready, throughout the birth, and for an hour or two after to make sure you are comfortable and help you to initiate breastfeeding, if requested. Photography Highlights: I am a trained photographer, and I will capture some pictures of your new baby immediately after birth, and with you & your partner. I will provide these images for you on a disc. Birth Notes: I will take notes of times, procedures, and memorable moments during your labour, when possible. I will provide these notes for you as a keepsake. Postpartum Visit: I will visit you at home within 2 weeks following the birth of your baby, to provide you with your photos & birth notes, and make sure you are settling in to your new routine. I can recommend local professionals & resources where needed. I have plenty of payment options, including monthly installments. I believe that every woman deserves a Doula, and I will do what I can to make it work for you. |
